In early April, Marijke van der Valk and her husband, Harry Heinrichs successfully finalised negotiations on a new site for the family business. Zaltbommel, located by the A2 road, will receive an impressive new hotel and office complex spanning no less than 17,000m2.
Van der Valk Zaltbommel will consist of 130 guest rooms, a meeting point with 16 multi-functional meeting rooms and an auditorium. The facility will also boast a gym, restaurant, lounge and bar. The new hotel’s target audience are businesses located in the immediate area with a need for hotel and meeting rooms, as well as tourists and larger event hosting. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors before the end of the year.
